  15. This document describes the DiskWarrior Extension 2.0.5 Update. This update only works with the English language version of DiskWarrior. After applying the update, your DiskWarrior 2.0.x Extension will be version 2.0.5.

  19. The DiskWarrior Extension 2.0.5 adds compatibility with Mac OS 9.1. Older versions of the DiskWarrior Extension will not load when your Mac is starting up with Mac OS 9.1. The DiskWarrior 2.0 application does not need to be updated for compatibility.

Also new is a change in the way the DiskWarrior Extension icon is drawn at startup. Previously the icon drawn at startup only indicated whether or not the extension loaded successfully. You may now see an icon drawn with the word "off" in the lower right corner of the icon. This indicates that the extension loaded but DiskShield is turned off and is not providing protection to your directories. To turn protection on, open the DiskWarrior application, click the DiskShield tab and then click the "On" button.

Run the DiskWarrior Exten 2.0.5 Update. When prompted, choose the DiskWarrior Extension to be updated. You cannot update a DiskWarrior Extension that resides on a CD because you cannot modify a CD. After the update is complete, you're ready to enjoy the benefits of your updated DiskWarrior Extension.
